NYONYA ASSAM SAUCE
Tantalising Nonya Assam Sauce created by Chef Cao Yong. This spicy and sourish gravy is versatile and you can pair with seafood or meat. You could not resist having more serving of rice!
Ingredients: Cooking Oil, Assam Paste, Fish Sauce, Rice Vinegar, Plum Sauce, Sugar, Lime, Red Chilli, Chilli Padi, Turmeric, Young Ginger, Ginger Flower, Preserved Leek, Shallots, Garlic
Suggested Recipe: Steamed Red Grouper with Nyonya Assam Sauce
Method: In a wok, add 2 tablespoons of water with 1 bottle of Nyonya Assam Sauce and bring it to a boil. Pour the sauce onto the steamed red grouper and serve.
Tips: You may also add blanched eggplant, lady's finger, tomato or other vegetables into the sauce for better taste.
